You most definitely make a statement in this larger-than-life brooch so typical of the recently late Ian St. Gielar and is but one piece in the body of work that is his legacy. This brooch was purchased from him before his passing and embodies his characteristic whimsy, and undoubted sense of humor elegantly expressed.

Layers of Russian gold (not real gold) filigree support a large jade-colored oval cabochon in a scalloped setting which is partially hidden by a layer of leaves and strawberries sprouting long-stemmed glass strawberries as well as red glass posies with clear rose montees at their centers.
